OSAMA OR SOVEREIGNTY?

AND DOING ANOTHER....

NEW YORK The director of the C-I-A says he has -- quoting here -- an "excellent idea" where Osama bin Laden is hiding.
But Porter Goss indicated that the United States just can't go in and snatch him, telling Time magazine that America has to respect the sovereignty of other nations.

Instead, Goss says, "we have to find a way to work in a conventional world in unconventional ways."

Goss didn't say where he thinks bin Laden is, or specify the countries that may be giving him sanctuary. But American officials have long said they believe bin Laden is hiding in the rugged mountains along the Afghan-Pakistan border.
