WHY DIDN’T THE GOVERNOR ASK?

When one of your pathetic Bush-apologizing ass-kissing neighbors, friends or co-workers asks you, why didn’t the governor of Louisiana ask the president for assistance? Show them a copy of this letter Governor Blanco sent Bush on Sunday, August 28th, the day before the hurricane.

Of course, we know Bush was overly concerned about the potential category 5 hurricane wrecking havoc on that region so what did he do the day of it? He golfed 18 holes. And, of course the day before when the governor sent him the letter he was too busy riding his bicycle around his ranch to be bothered with such trivial bullshit.

But now when you hear Fox News, Limbaugh or Hannity lie about the Louisiana governor failing to act; You’ll know better-won’t you?

For any of you pathetic Bush apologists who find it hard to read a 4 page document or you have your head up Dubya's ass too far to comprehend, let me provide you with one glaring paragraph from Governor Blanco's letter.

"Based on the predictions we have received from the National Weather Service and other sources, I have determined that this incident will be of such severity and magnitude that the effective response will be beyond the capabilities of the State and affected local governments and that supplementary Federal assistance will be necessary."
